Septic Systems
Septic Systems are the only way in some area's that you can build a house because of no sewage hook up. A septic tank is used to provide sewer service to your home.

Septic tanks are many different sizes and are designed specifically for the size of house being built, taking into account how many bathrooms, showers and baths, also added into the equation is how many bedrooms. The bedroom count determines approximately how many people will or could be using the septic system at any given time.

If you do not properly select the correct septic tank for your home, you could end up with many septic back ups and sewage problems. Be sure to properly calculate your septic needs so you can eliminate any future septic tank issues. See septic system calculations chart for a guide to selecting the proper septic tank.

Maintaining a Septic System

Even if your septic system has been set up correctly, you will still have to maintain it on a semi annual schedule to receive optimum performance and in turn, get un-interrupted use.

It is recommended that you have your septic tank pumped out every five years and a check up performed.
